October 15, 2026 - White Cane Day
White Cane Safety Day is a national observance in the United States, celebrated annually on October 15 since 1964. The date is set aside to celebrate the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired and the important symbol of blindness and tool of independence, the white cane.
November 2026- Lions Food Basket
Weaverville Lions provide a beautiful basket full of "fixings' for families in need.
December 2026 - Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots is hosted by the Weaverville

March 28, 2027 Easter Egg Hunt
The Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt
will be Sunday March 28, 2027 at the Lowden Park in Weaverville. This is an annual event each year that is attended by many on Easter Sunday.
April 2027 - Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby is the wood car racing event of the Cub Scout Program of Scouting America. Pinewood derbies are often run by packs of the Cub Scouts program.
July 4th 2027- Weaverville Lions
4th of July Rodeo & Derby
Weaverville Lions will host the annual 4th of July Rodeo & Derby.
